Sugar scrubs are wonderful and we use a lot of it here. I have some in both bathrooms and also in the kitchen. I started making my own a few years ago and these are great for gifts as well!
I came across this from pinterest looking for some recipes. It is extremely easy and so simple. I was looking for something to make for my youngest daughter. I found this recipe for a SUGAR SCRUB using Johnson’s Baby oil, baby wash and sugar. That’s it! The scent comes from the oil and baby wash. My youngest daughter loves the smell of the baby lotion. Johnson’s baby lotion is not always for babies; she is 16!
The pink color from the baby wash gave the sugar a very slight pink hue.I like to use mason canning jars and I prefer the small 8 ounces. These wide mouth jars are perfect. I always use a small spoon to dip out the amount I need. The canning jar lids and rings usually rust a little over time. I found these while I was searching for an alternative. These LIDS can be found on amazon or locally in the canning section. I have only found them in white. They come both in sizes to fit wide mouth and regular mason jars.
This would be great to make for a little girl birthday sleepover or have them packaged up for party favors.
